Inspired by Stanley Kubrick's seminal film The Shining (1980), McQueen named his FW 1999 collection after the hotel in which the majority of the film was set. "The Overlook" was a meditation on loneliness and the dilapidation of the human spirit.
This angelic chunky cable knit midi dress features an intricate woven knit pattern that exudes McQueen's unparalleled craftsmanship. The silhouette features a high neck, sleeveless cut that is fitted to the upper body, then relaxes into a soft fish tail skirt with rolled hem. Specialist dry clean only.
